From 1st July 2023 to 30th June 2024 Sukhitha Australia had funded and coordinated the implementation of several projects to provide protection, care and education to children and/or adults with disabilities (special needs) from low socioeconomic backgrounds living in Sri Lanka, Southern India and Australia. During the year Sukhitha Australia had provided financial support to Sukhitha children's home to build a new high care dormitory to provide improved care to 16 women with disabilities living at the Sukhitha children's home in Kalutara and to Janey Centre in Kerala India to purchase a printing machine to provide improved education to students with disabilities. Over 150 children and adults with disabilities living in Sri Lanka and India benefitted from the work of Sukhitha Australia.
