Sturt Upper Reaches Landcare Group Inc

We worked in a variety of ways to care for land and biodiversity in our region, and to encourage, educate and provide skills to others in the local community to continue this . We ran projects such as planting days, developed educational resources, held working bees and demonstrations, and acquired tools for use by the community. We also continued our involvement with conservation of native species endemic to the area which we focus on, namely the Upper Reaches of the Sturt River. Our projects aim to bolster and improve the habitat the endemic native species call home, at a landscape scale in and beyond our catchment area through initiatives including the Bandicoot Superhighway project see https://www.bsh.org.au/.
