The Steve Waugh Foundation provides life changing support and champions the stories of those living with rare diseases a supportive network for children and young adults (025years) with a rare disease that would otherwise have nowhere to turn. A major motivation behind the Foundation is that no one should have to stand alone; everyone needs a team to support them. We are somewhere to turn . Generous donations go directly to life changing Individual Grants for medicine, specialised equipment, treatment and items that improve the quality of life for a child affected by a rare disease, as well as Respite Retreats for the whole family. The only Foundation of our kind in Australia, we are there for the children and families who face the challenges of a rare disease with strength of character every day.
