We deliver settlement support to newly arrived migrants and refugees, and employment support to disadvantaged CALD community members. We provide extensive casework support, emergency and material support, early intervention and parenting education to the families with the children at risk due to situations like financial hardship and poverty, domestic violence, relationship breakdown, mental health, drug and alcohol etc. We support individuals, women and families at the risk of homelessness, or in a crisis situation with housing and temporary shelter referrals, tenancy help and emergency relief. We support financially disadvantaged families and individuals living in our service area with food parcels, emergency relief, financial counselling, interest free loan and utilities vouchers to pay bills. We provide information, referral, casework, and emergency relief assistance to newly arrived migrants and refugees and support them in navigating through Australian systems; combating social isolation; dealing with relationship issues; and in finding employment. We run a Dress For Work program to educate and mentor male job seekers for entry into the workforce and to provide them with appropriate clothing for job interviews.
