Stepping Stone Social Enterprise Limited

We operated our cafes at Strathnairn Arts and at Dickson in Canberra which employs and provides training to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) migrant and refugee women who face multiple barriers to employment. We also use the cafe space to support our staff through English conversation sessions with our volunteers. Our cafe space also provided a safe place for meetings, conversations groups and other gatherings in the community where all are welcome with zero discrimination. We assisted other social enterprises and local organisations to raise funds and hold events that align with our mutual values, missions and aims. In the last year we provided employment and marketable skills development to over 37 women from CALD backgrounds who have recently arrived in Canberra.
