St George Historical Society Inc

The Society reopened its historic house museum 'Lydham Hall' in February 2024 to the general public. The museum had been closed due to COVID19 restrictions and subsequent extensive renovations. The museum now provides educational tours for demographics ranging from primaryhigh school age students to adults. In addition, there are monthly open days which enable the general public to engage and interact with a gracious home furnished in the fashion of a midlate Victorian middleclass family plus enjoy ad hoc musical entertainment and refreshments on the iron lace veranda overlooking the wellkept rear garden.
