St Barnabas Anglican ChurchRegistered

The Westmead Anglican Church worked towards achieving our charitable purpose of advancing religion in 2024 through conducting a range of church based activities. These included the support of Christian mission both in Australia and overseas, conducting 2 Anglican church services each Sunday using face to face meetings and through the use of technology to reach those people who were unable to join in person. We also provided Christian baptism, wedding and funeral services as required. The church also conducted, Sunday school activities, small group bible studies, children's and youth / young adults activities, provided pastoral support for members of the congregation and the broader community where needed. We also provided a community playtime meeting one morning each week and other activities that provide contact with the wider community. We supported the work of Anglicare through their Christmas appeal and through the recycling bins that are located on the church property and readily available for community use. As a priority the church actively supported the Special Religious Education (SRE)programme in the local Westmead Primary School.
