SCIA has been run by and for people with spinal cord injury and other neurological conditions for 57 years. We were founded by people with spinal cord injury. People with disability make up 25% our employees and 50% of the directors on our Board. We are a member based organisation with more than 3000 members and clients. The principal activity of SCIA is to provide a range of services designed to maximise personal independence for all members and clients. Our organisational purpose is to create a world where people with spinal and neuro conditions and their loved ones thrive.
