About South Eastern Community Connect
South Eastern Community Connect (SECC) for the last 45 years has been driven by the following mission: To support the community by providing services, programs and advocacy to eliminate barriers, enhance social inclusion, and improve quality of life for all people in southeast Sydney. This has been achieved by providing a diverse range of support and care services to those affected by changing physical/mental health needs, social isolation, domestic and family violence, substance misuse and homelessness. Our seniors, young people and families encounter multiple risk factors; our services have remained responsive to these changing needs and include programs such as our food pantry, domestic violence support via our trained and qualified DFV casework team, parenting programs, wellbeing groups and supported playgroups, Youth Drop In, tutoring, anger management programs and casework support for young people aged 1225 years. Regular holistic support for seniors through our community transport program, dedicated dementia day centre, flexible respite care, food and shopping services, social support, and Home Care Package case management services. In addition, we provide subsidised, lowcost OSHC services to families in South West Sydney
