South Coffs Community Garden IncorporatedRegistered

Our garden will create opportunities for experiential learning, demonstrations and practical small group activities. To encourage a creative environment in which people can contribute their skills, learn from each other, develop new skills and fresh ideas; share knowledge, and create discussions about nutrition, cooking/preserving, growing organic food. Our community garden will provide opportunities for putting knowledge and skills into practice which makes great 'outdoor classrooms' for informal learning ,school based learning, formal education and life long learning. We also aim to donate food surplus to people experiencing financial difficulties and to help relieve poverty. We also aim to promote volunteerism. We are supported by local community members, businesses and community organisations who want to work with us to help their clients.
