In the 2024 2025 reporting period, Sorell RSL SubBranch Inc continued its mission to support veterans, their families, and the broader community by fostering remembrance, promoting social connection, and providing a welcoming and respectful environment. We achieved this through: Commemorative Services: Hosting and supporting ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day services, which brought together veterans, families, school groups, and the wider community to honour the service and sacrifice of Australian servicemen and women. Veteran Support: Providing a space for veterans to connect, share experiences, and access informal peer support, helping reduce isolation and build community ties. Community Engagement: Operating our club facilities, including regular meals and events, which helped generate a sense of belonging and provided social opportunities for members and guests. Volunteer Contribution: Our Committee and volunteers dedicated their time and efforts to maintaining the club s operations, grounds, and commemorative activities, reflecting the values of service and community support. These activities aligned with our core aim of honouring the past while supporting the wellbeing of current and former servicemen and women and strengthening ties within the Sorell community.
