Somascan Movement Australia IncRegistered

We contributed to the provision of twice weekly Catholic faith formation to young adults, teenagers, children, and families with particular attention to youth in need and families in distress. We hosted family events 12 times per year including shared meal, faith formation and fellowship to build up community and belonging. We provided outreach to the poor, together with Catholic instruction and raised awareness through different media on faith and charitable matters. We supported the Somascan Fathers in the animation of religious festivities and faith formation events centred on youth, family and strengthening marriages, including a marriage enrichment 7 week program that runs a number of times per year. We distribute print and social media through Somascan Serve to provide support, formation and connect networks on what's on throughout Australia.
