We organise festivals of Slavic Culture. Slav Fest 2019 took place in JulySeptember 2019, including exhibitions, concerts, and the Galaconcert at the Roma Street Parkland amphitheatre, involving more than 150 performers. These festivals are held every two years. The 2021 festival was cancelled due to the COVID19 pandemic. Slav Fest 2023 took place in AugustSeptember and the Gala concert was held at Coorparoo Secondary College, involving about 400 performers. Performers travelled from Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Our organisation secured several grants for Folk groups that allowed them to purchase new musical instruments and costumes.
