SiTara s Story organised growth talkshops targeting women from Culturally and Linguistically diverse (CALD) or Culturally and Racially Marginalised (CARM) communities. These inspirational talkshops are designed to empower women from diverse backgrounds with the tools, strategies and the confidence they need to break through the professional barriers and achieve their potentials. SiTara s Story also published a policy paper, titled Breaking the barrier to bring the issue of mental health of migrants and firstgeneration migrants to the forefront of the conversation at the community and policymaker levels and provide strategies to support the parents and young people to minimise the intergenerational gaps. Furthermore, in 2024 SiTara s Story has organised a Business Expo 'Colour in Canberra', offering trade display, opportunity to build brand proximity, panel discussions and keynotes speeches by renowned business leaders and policy makers. The aim of this event was to present a platform to learn and be empowered through business and entrepreneur growth skill developments. This Conference was open for all members of the community, highlighting women of colour in Canberra.
