Signature Foundation Limited (SFL) did the following works from 1/7/23 to 30/6/24 WHALAN, NSW, PROJECT SFL lodged a DA in the Council for an emergency shelter for women and children fleeing domestic violence at Whalan, NSW. SFL applied for a State Government Grant from the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) for the funding of the project with Habitat for Humanity Australia (Registered Community Housing Provider) and Bonnies Support Services (Specialist Domestic Violence Service Provider) as partners. Unfortuantely the grant from DCJ was refused and hence it was resolved to endeavour to procure other grants with Habitat and Bonnies as partners in the project. LALOR PARK, NSW PROJECT Rebuilding house at Lalor Park that was maliciously burnt down by the neighbour's son. This was also covered by A Current Affair. Under a 'profit for purpose' model, SFL entered into a bindng agreement with the Owners of the property to procure statutory approvals to build two abutted dwellings, sell one dwelling and use the profit from the sales of the first dwelling to finance the construction of the second dwelling with the agreement that any shortfall in the construction cost of the house for the owners would be taken care of by SFL.SFL was in the process of procuring statutory approvals to start the construction of the two dwellings.
