Seabin Foundation Limited

Seabin Foundation is dedicated to implementing proactive solutions to prevent the inflow of plastics into the world's oceans. Through our Ocean Health Lab, a repurposed shipping container into a solarpowered research facility for Seabin catches, we use the macro and microplastics insights from nearby waterways as evidence of marine pollution and pair it with scientific and legislative resources to develop litter prevention campaigns, reporting, and engaging daily with communities through citizen science and ocean literacy. We also engage with communities through education with our free Ocean Health online course, STEM Lessons, webinars and live streams, and site excursions at the Australian National Maritime Museum where the Ocean Health Lab is hosted, as well as event participation in collaboration with other organisations.
