In alignment with our mission to address genderbased violence and empower adolescent girls in El Salvador, we have successfully developed and implemented two sixweek prevention programs. This program includes comprehensive facilitator resources and training sessions, equipping leaders to guide girls through discussions on personal development, safety, and abuse. Groups of 10 15 participants have been formed to foster meaningful engagement, and interactive sessions ensure the girls understand and apply the material. Facilitators also provide pastoral support to participants, creating a safe and nurturing environment. In 2024 we held our second 'Arise and Shine' girls' conference, celebrating their achievements and providing access to inspirational speakers. Overall, the project has demonstrated measurable progress in addressing genderbased violence and promoting personal development within various communities in El Salvador.
