RBS provides assistance to primary producers and small business owners in rural SA and NT who are experiencing financial hardship and distress. We provide this support through the provision of a rural financial counselling service and through business support services. Our programs build the capacity of individuals to become more self reliant, alleviating the distress caused by their financial difficulties. Services are provided onfarm, online, onpremise and/or through appointments at our regional offices, with follow up support via email and phone. Length of service to clients depends on the complexity of a client's situation and can vary from one or two contacts over a short period of time to multiple contacts over a period of up to three years
