Rural Australians for Refugees (Bendigo) Inc

We provide practical support for refugees, helping them to settle and thrive in Bendigo. During our FY24 year we have sponsored and resettled another family bringing our total community sponsorship to 4 families (7 adults, 8 children) through the Department of Home Affairs' Community Refugee Integration Settlement Program (CRISP). We actively fund raise within the Bendigo community to have the means to do this refugee community sponsorship. We all think is very important to contribute to Bendigo's welcoming status and cultural diversity. We are also advocate for refugee rights through organized rallies and events.
