Runway Journal Incorporated

Runway Journal cultivates and preserves experimental practice on our digital platform. We commission and publish critical and artistic works that respond to thematic callouts and engage with current threads of Australian and international contemporary art. In 2024 Runway Journal published and launched themed issue 48: Groundswell. It was guestedited by Maya Hodge and featured nine pieces of writing, creative works, interviews and mixed media experimental publishing. Alongside themed Issues, Runway Journal s Conversations platform shares, analyses, and discusses Australian contemporary art practice. Across 2024 there were 19 Conversations was structured with a particular focus across three main partnerships with Counterflows, Kudos at Arc Creative UNSW, and The Beaded Tit.
