The Ruby Tuesday Foundation connects disadvantaged children and youth that might otherwise miss out, with opportunities to take part in educational and extracurricular activities. Our goals are to foster student participation in both the classroom and in our activity programs and extracurricular activities, which provide all students with experiences, unlock opportunities to participate and provide a pathway for aspiration. The Ruby Tuesday Values Based Learning and Activity Program is a 4module education program written and developed for South Australian curriculum that operates in qualifying low socioeconomic public schools with year 5 students. The program positively impact students in South Australia by: 1. Providing relatable stories for students that create thoughtful moments and encourage action around the foundation s core values. 2. Support teachers in delivering meaningful lessons around these core values. 3. Foster student participation in Student Activity programs and extracurricular activities building on the significant bank of research including from our own Foundation that assesses the impact that experiences can have at a young age in a child s confidence, skills development, engagement with school and community and for their own long term wellbeing. The Foundation measures is impact on students against our long term program logic model and captures evidence based data form our program participants (students, teachers and parents) about the short term and midterm attitudinal shifts in the students and the long term gains in wellbeing and aspiration created by both the learning and extracurricular.
