About Rtwmatters Limited
RTWMatters has significantly advanced its mission of promoting positive change in workrelated injury and illness management through several key initiatives in 202324. By expanding our It Pays to Care (IPTC) project, we've strengthened our ability to deliver evidencebased education and improve health outcomes across Australia's workers' compensation landscape. To advance health education and promote industry leadership, we established new healthcare provider advisory groups and delivered targeted educational programs through workshops, webinars, and symposiums. These programs brought together employers, insurers, and healthcare providers to share knowledge and best practices. Our growing LinkedIn community of 1,400 members serves as a vibrant platform for continuous professional education and knowledge exchange. We enhanced our educational impact by expanding the resources available on itpaystocare.org. These materials incorporate evidencebased principles that promote fair and efficient workers' compensation schemes while advocating for positive systemic change. This work directly supports our charitable purpose by educating stakeholders about effective injury management and prevention strategies. Our commitment to advancing workplace health continued through publications focused on creating psychologically safe workplaces. By connecting Australian employers with industry experts through webinars and interviews, we provided practical, evidencebased guidance for organizations of all sizes, helping them implement positive changes in their injury management approaches. In early 2024, we launched a new educational program focusing on evidencebased messaging in workers' compensation. This initiative advances our mission by examining how communication affects recovery and returntowork outcomes. By analysing messages that either support or hinder recovery, based on lived experiences within the workers' compensation system, we're working to improve health outcomes and promote positive change in injury management practices.
