River Conservation Society Incorporated

We undertake restoration and rehabilitation of the Avon River and it's riparian zones and the 10 Bushland Conservation Reserves under our management within the Shire of York. We conduct river fauna surveys, restoration of river fauna habitat and revegetation programs. We are developing an environmental discovery centre as a central hub for our activities. We also conduct environmental education and interest events and general meetings throughout the year.
