We continued to operate programs for school aged children during 2023 to assist personal growth & develop resilience. Our programs were structured to utilize physical & mental challenges, giving instruction on the recognition of mental illness & the importance of good mental health practice & habits. We continued to utilize young volunteers to develop a passion for community service. in April we had a staffing crisis with retirement, ill health and resignations of our senior leadership. We had considerable difficulty recruiting appropriate skilled replacement staff and had to suspend our programs with the expectation of resuming programs once we had appropriate people in place, resuming later in the year.
