Regional Universities Network (RUN) is a network of seven universities based in regional Australia which was established in October 2011. Our members work together to contribute to the growth of regional economies and communities. RUN members ensure that higher education is accessible and achievable, and produces qualified professionals needed for regional development. RUN as an entity continues to advance public debate and education through continued advocacy to policymaker and political stakeholders, as well as through representation on key Government advisory boards. RUN also undertook a series of projects, most notably continued support of the Fulbright Commission Awards, the RUN Learning and Teaching Awards, and a delegation with joint support from the Australian Department of Education to raise the profiles of and opportunities to collaborate with regional universities.
