Regional Arts Wa Inc.

Established in 1994, Regional Arts WA Inc is a membershipbased organisation and peak body for the Western Australia regional arts sector. Our overarching commitment is to nurture the arts, helping communities tell their unique stories, connect to a sense of place and belonging, improve their wellbeing and foster imagination and hope in a rapidly changing and complex world. Our services include grant programs, advice, networking, capacity building, strategic projects and partnerships. In 2024, we continued to partner with both the State and Federal Government to deliver regional arts funding programs in WA, and we partnered with philanthropic organisations to deliver strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the sector. We strive for cultural equity throughout our programs and approaches, proactively working with First Nations, young people, people of colour and people with diverse abilities. With each WA region having different imperatives, we are committed to regionalisation, ensuring decisions are made locally. Our team connects across the State from both metro and regional locations, and we have continued to prioritise regional applicants during recruitment. Our emphasis on leadership, good governance and robust financial management has enabled us to attract significant funding and deliver meaningful arts and cultural outcomes for regional communities.
