Continued to Operate the Tablelands Cassowary Rehabilitation Facility, working in partnership with the Department of Environment and Science to care for injured and orphaned Cassowaries. Continued to Revegetate the Toohey s Creek wildlife corridor in Lake Barrine. Worked with volunteers to operate a large nursery for native trees to be grown from seed and planted back into the Tablelands Cassowary Rehabilitation Facility. Promoted and campaigned to protect Australia s wilderness and wildlife from industrial development. Campaigned to Keep Chalumbin Wild and stop a largescale wind development from being placed on remnant forest near Ravenshoe, Far North Queensland. Raised funds for rainforest buyback groups. Raised funds for the Far North Queenslandbased Magnificent Broodfrog Action Group and contributed to research on the Magnificent Broodfrog. Facilitate community treeplanting days. Finance and production of Video's for public awareness of environmental destruction planned by large industrial projects.
