Membership of the Nature Conservation Council and Better Planning Network. PYSE members elected to Better Planning Network Leadership Group. Regular meetings with the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI). Evidence at the Parliamentary Inquiry into the Planning System and the Impacts of Climate Change on the Environment and Communities. Evidence at the Parliamentary Inquiry into the Development of the Transport Oriented Development Program. Representations made to Parliamentary Secretary for the Environment, Trish Doyle, as well as to DPHI, regarding exemptions for bushfire prone lands from the Low and Medium Density Housing Policy. Submissions made for Westleigh Park, Hornsby Park, Hornsby TOD, Coonara Ave in West Pennant Hills, Marys Mount in Castle Hill, Blacks Road in Arcadia and Malton Rd in Beecroft. Submission on the Draft Guidelines for Synthetic Turf. Participation in Council and community meetings.
