About Presbyterian Ladies' College

Presbyterian Ladies' College is a Uniting Church School committed to excellent well rounded educational experience that gives every girl confidence and empowers her to lead a principled life and make an active contribution to the Community. PLC was established in 1915 for the educational benefit of young women in Perth. The School benefits from the contributions of an enormous number of volunteers that include the School Council, Committees, Auxiliaries, Parents, Grandparents, Old Collegians and the general community all working towards providing the best possible opportunities for our students. The School provides a number of Scholarships and Bursaries each year for a variety of recipients including indigenous girls, academically or musically gifted girls and girls who might not otherwise afford an education at PLC. In addition, the School Council, Principal, staff, students and parents assist with fundraising and volunteer their time and expertise to assist Uniting Church and other charities and beneficiaries both associated with and outside the PLC Community. The School employs a Head of Service who manages PLC's partnerships with external charities an coordinates students' service activities. She also engages the School community in giving and service, locally, nationally and internationally.
