The organisation continued to provide a comprehensive range of online resources for the people bereaved by suicide, and the people, organisations and communities supporting them. The Postvention Australia website provides geographic listings of local support groups and agencies across Australia; and provides advice and resources (books, DVDs, websites) to support those bereaved by suicide. In 2023/24 year the organisation put effort into developing a new online course in suicide prevention (Suicide Awareness Prevention Training SAIT), which was launched on International Survivors of Suicide day November 2024. Further, this work also developed out the learning platform. The organisation is planning to develop and publish further online education modules in the near future. After completion of a suicide prevention certificate pilot the organisation is applying for funding to develop this further (to Certificate 4 level). The organisation posted frequently on social media, to continue raising public awareness of the challenges, and sources of support associated with suicide bereavement. Further these posts also included promotion of research projects (and findings) related to suicide bereavement. The organisation engaged with government and a range of stakeholders throughout the year on the topic of suicide bereavement and postvention.
