. We provide short or long term direct care and/or rehabilitation to all association animals that have been surrendered, lost, mistreated or are without owners. . We provide all necessary and appropriate veterinary attention and medication to all association animals that may present as sick or injured and continue providing such care unless otherwise advised that the animal cannot be returned to complete health. . We have all animals microchipped, vaccinated and desexed on admission to the shelter or as close to time of admission where possible, and provide worm, tick and flea treatments as required for the entire period they are housed at the shelter. . We socialise animals to ensure, where possible, that adopted animals can assimilate into their new homes without hardship to the new owners.
