Food Security: Providing food assistance to individuals and families in need Nutrition Education: Promoting healthy eating habits and nutrition education Cultural Sensitivity: Delivering culturally sensitive support, respecting the values and traditions of Pacific Islander and local communities Community Engagement: Fostering a sense of community and connection through shared meals and food initiatives Dance Classes: Offering classes in Tongan and other Pacific Island cultural dance styles Cultural Events: Hosting events to showcase the talents of program participants Mentorship: Pairing inmates with trained mentors for guidance and support Life Skills Training: Offering training on anger management, conflict resolution, and job readiness Reentry Support: Aiding with housing, employment, and community reintegration upon release. Empower Pacific Islander communities through media representation Foster cultural expression and understanding Provide a platform for social issues and community concerns Develop the skills and confidence of community members in radio production. Our Women's Program provides a safe and supportive space for women to connect, share, and empower one another. Through crafts and cooking, we foster a sense of community and belonging. Community Networking and Advocacy: Building partnerships with local services, school and church communities advocating for the needs of Tongan communities and facilitating access to mainstream services.
