In 2024, the work of the Centre directly supported our purpose of connecting Australia to the IndoPacific and advancing the public interest. Though our innovative programming and impactful engagement we helped to educate our diverse community on the full spectrum of complex issues facing the Australia and the IndoPacific from trade and investment to critical minerals and supply chains, to disinformation and cyber security. We educated our community through our research and online courses, launching two bespoke, ondemand online courses for Australian and IndoPacific communities. Briefings with government, industry, and the community shared key insights and analysis. We provided informed analysis by producing timely content and expert insights, contributing to public discourse and policy development in areas of shared regional importance. We strengthened networks through hosting events and international visits to create platforms for collaboration and exchange. We built stronger relationships by engaging with counterparts to foster diplomatic, academic and industry ties in 12 cities across 9 countries, and hosted international delegates in WA to discuss key regional issues like critical minerals, energy, defence, and AUKUS. Together, these efforts translate the Centre s vision into practical impact educating the community and enhancing regional understanding, cooperation, and resilience in the IndoPacific.
