Percussion Australia is where the music of the planet thrives. Percussion Australia makes a place, time and space to create, learn, love and support percussion. It's purpose is to define and refine percussion its meaning, its standard, its role, its accessibility in Australia and internationally. Percussion Australia aspires to produce a wide, wild range of music and performance styles in a broad range of environments and performing contexts, and fulfill a mission to instill percussion as an essential and celebrated art form in the landscape of Australian arts. The activities of our charity helped us to achieve the following work: * Producing percussive music concerts of international excellence * Championing contemporary Australian Art Music * Expanding our already impressive list of Composer Commissions * Education presenting yearly term classes and one off workshops for the community from ages 3 63 years old, and nurture an inclusive community spirit * Training and development of the percussionists of tomorrow * Presenting school shows and workshops, and developing education resources
