Our charity has provided vital support to thousands of families experiencing the trauma and grief of being cut off from their children or grandchildren as a result of coercive and psychologically harmful behaviours. In alignment with our mission, we have developed and distributed evidenceinformed psychoeducational resources that promote physical and mental wellbeing. We also deliver education on the complex psychological dynamics involved in parent child trauma, coerced attachment, and alienating behaviours that can lead to the unwarranted rejection of a parent or other family member. Through our moderated online forum and facilitated support groups, we offer safe, supportive spaces where parents can connect, share lived experiences, and access peer support during periods of significant emotional distress and isolation. Our work has contributed to suicide prevention and has helped many families begin the process of safe and meaningful reconnection. By equipping parents with a deeper understanding of the psychological impact of these dynamics, and by offering practical tools to support communication, emotional safety, and trustbuilding, we help families begin to heal and restore relationships.
