About Palliative Care WA Incorporated
Palliative Care WA is Western Australia's peak body for palliative care. It is a member based and notforprofit organisation which advocates to raise awareness and promote equitable access to high quality palliative care for all community members who require it. While not a direct provider of clinical services, Palliative Care WA provides community education programs direct to the community as well as an individualised advance care planning support service. These two services are offered freeofcharge and are well utilised across WA. In addition, Palliative Care WA provides a range of activities and events to support the health, aged care, and community service sector's understanding and delivery of quality palliative care. Palliative Care WA works collaboratively with Government and public/private sector providers on a wide range of projects and operates on a combination of Government funding, membership fees, sponsorship, and philanthropic support.
