The main work of the charity involves creating forums and networks that enable professionals to share information, ideas and experiences, identify trends and shape constructive change for children and families in conflict in family law. The charity provides continuing education through conferences and workshops and advocates for innovation and change in the court and legal systems, called upon to serve children and families in conflict. The charity strives to identify and disseminate standards of practice and model strategies in the area of Family Law. The below activities also assisted with achieving the aforementioned goal of the charity; Organising conferences for National and International delegates to attend and be involved in lectures and discussion in relation to improving the lives of children and families through the resolution of family conflict. Preparation of regular newsletter forwarded to members of the Association in relation to issues relevant to the day to day practise of those professionals working with children and families. Provision of legal and social education to professionals working in the area of children and families through workshops and seminars. Provide training and endorsement for family report writers. Provide training and endorsements in the area of Parenting Coordination.
