As a communityfocused, Aboriginal organisation, we continued our work to build the collective power of our people and back our leadership, skills and capacity to genuinely achieve selfdetermination in our community and on country. We strengthened our work with First Nation peoples to have the ability to protect country, cultural heritage and sacred sites. We supported activities which included community gatherings and trainings from selfgovernance to strategy work and economic development initiatives. A growing focus was on ensuring our communities are central to, and can share in the benefits of the transition to renewable energy. We delivered clean energy demonstration projects in communities across the Territory, working with Traditional Owners in a bid to achieve energy security on outstations, homelands, public housing and in town communities. We continue to develop the work of the First Nations Clean Energy Network which is made up of First Nation people, communities and organisations, collaborating with industry, investors, unions, academics, legal and technical experts to ensure First Nations people play a key role in renewable energy development.
