Orchestra Geelong Inc.Registered

A vibrant mix of professional, amateur, and student musicians, Orchestra Geelong brings symphonic music to life in Geelong through an annual concert series that celebrates the richness of classical tradition and the excitement of new voices. In 2024, the orchestra enchanted audiences with four captivating performances, weaving together beloved classical works and evocative film music. One concert shone a spotlight on the talents of emerging local and semiprofessional soloists, offering a platform for the next generation of performers. The season also embraced the spirit of innovation, premiering two original compositions by young local composers including a striking new work by composer and orchestra member Olivia Sagor.
