Trust was established late 2023 we have not had any activity. The objects for which the Trust is established are to advance the Catholic faith, in accordance with the doctrines, beliefs, teachings and laws of the Church and the charism, spirituality and traditions of the Religious Institute, and to provide social welfare, maintenance, necessities of life, and relief from poverty by means of financial and other assistance to Oblates, including by: (a) providing money, property or benefits to Oblates for the following: (i) housing and accommodation, living costs including the operation of motor vehicles and transport, care and support including health care; (ii) support of a group or cluster of Oblates living within the same household or within individual households or aged care facilities but linked by common understanding of regular communal gatherings for prayer, socialising, meals, meetings, discussions, recreation or other needs from time to time including those in aged care but attached to a community; and (iii) welfare services for such persons who, by vow of poverty, are persons in necessitous circumstances; (b) facilitating accommodation to Oblates to enable them to live out their vowed lives and engage in the delivery of such other endorsed Charitable works in which the Religious Institute (including Oblates) may be engaged throughout Australia; and (c) doing all other things incidental or ancillary to, or in furtherance or in aid of, the Trust Objects.
