OCTEC s services are targeted at people who face multiple barriers to accessing employment, education and training opportunities. In 2024, we delivered a number of programs aimed at supporting these people achieve better employment and education outcomes. The programs were funded through various Australian and NSW and Victorian Government contracts, supported by OCTEC s own resources. OCTEC supports at risk youth through providing help with reengaging with school or alternative education and improving their education outcomes. As an Australian Disability Enterprise, OCTEC s Huntley Berry Farm provides employment opportunities for people with disability who are working towards open employment. Through this program, we help to support placing people with disability into main stream employment. As a Registered Training Organisation, we provided vocational training to job seekers and existing workers from one or more of the following target groups: at risk youth, people with disability, people training for entry level positions in low paid industries and people returning to work after lengthy periods out of the workforce.
