NTSCORP pursued its charitable purpose to relieve poverty, sickness, suffering and misfortune amongst Aboriginal People in NSW and ACT during the last year through: (a) The negotiation of native title agreements in relation to the recognition and protection of Aboriginal People's traditional lands and waters and rights and interests with the State of NSW and ACT, (b) The negotiation of native title, compensation and future act agreements providing financial benefits, involvement in management and decision making, protection of culture and heritage, access arrangements and employment and train opportunities for Aboriginal People with the State of NSW and ACT, other proponents including mining companies, (c) The compilation of stories, the completion of reports and the making of films to preserve the traditional culture and heritage of Aboriginal People, and (d) Assistance with the establishment of Aboriginal Corporations to hold benefits and governance, capacity building and economic, social and community development with those Aboriginal Corporations and Aboriginal Communities.
