NSW Doctors Orchestra Inc

ACTIVITIES: Our members held a fundraising orchestral concert at Concourse Concert hall, Chatswood on 26 May 2024 following rehearsals on 11,12 and 25 May. Players totalled 73. In total 491 tickets were sold. On 8 September 2024 we held another Symphony in a Day at the University of Western Sydney, involving 44 players, witnessed at the end of the day by a small group of supporters. Donations from players and listeners covered costs for the day. DONATIONS: We provided ongoing sponsorship of $500 to the AMSO (Australian Medical Students Orchestra). We donated $12500 to the Sydney Eisteddfod to fund the NSW Drs Orchestra Instrumental Scholarship. We donated $12500 to the Daniel Ferguson LGMD Foundation (Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy).
