The NSW AECG is a nonprofit Aboriginal community based organisation that provides service, advocacy and advice on, and lobbies Government in relation to education related policies and programs on behalf of Aboriginal people in NSW. It operates programs that support and build capacity of Aboriginal people and communities at the grassroots level for better education outcomes. It educates NSW teachers, principals and government employees with respect to Aboriginal cultural awareness to equip them with knowledge to perform their roles more effectively for Aboriginal students
