Northey Street City Farm Association Inc

We provided permaculture and sustainable living eduction to adults and young people through our workshops, courses and activities. Volunteers helped with maintaining our site, demonstration gardens, community composting operation, and cooking. We provided access to locally produced organic food through our Sunday Farmers Market, donations of veggies and herbs from our market garden, and free lunches for volunteers. Our City Farm Nursery supplied plants, gardening inputs and equipment, and education to local gardeners. We promoted biodiversity through our education activities and planting of native plants. We included First Nations culture and knowledge through our Decolonisation Action Group and our First Nations Advisory Group.
