Northern Rives community Gateway provides relief to economically, socially or culturally disadvantaged people through placed based wrap around services that create positive social impact by adapting best practice. Community Gateway provide wrap around welfare services to the most vulnerable in our communit, through Neighborhood Centre Services, intake, assessment and referral, Emergency relief for people in crisis, food pantry, Energy (EAPA) vouchers, Financial Counseling, No interest loans, homelessness case management and brokerage support for people at risk of homelessnes, family case management and counseling, child and adolescent trauma counseling, Adult survivors of sexual assault counseling, sexual and reproductive health. Our capacity building programs include volunteer management, community visitor volunteer programs and spontaneous volunteer programs. We operate outside school hours care across our regional and rural footprint in the Northern Rivers and provide free supported playgroup.
