About North Midlands Project Incorporated
During 2024 we ran an active annual program of artist residencies, exhibitions, community and school workshops, performances, and events across Amangu, Badymia, Wajarri, Widi, and Yued country in Carnamah, Coorow, Eneabba, Geraldton, Mingenew, Moora, Morawa, Mullewa, Perenjori, and Three Springs. We delivered 344 activities encouraging creativity, positive mental wellbeing and vibrant, liveable towns. We managed creative community facilities The Bank Gallery, The Exchange, and Artist House VII in Carnamah; and comanaged The Exchange+Gallery in Mingenew with the Mingenew CRC. We continued our statewide tour of the Ebb+Flow exhibition, in partnership with Healthway and Regional Arts WA, promoting the Act Belong Commit message. The tour was accompanied by artist talks, professional development activities, community workshops, and schoolbased workshops using The Kids Research Institute Australia's SEWArts workshop. We programmed regular exhibitions at The Bank Gallery in Carnamah, The Exchange+Gallery in Mingenew, and Gardiner Street Arts Collective in Moora in addition to touring exhibitions to Perenjori, Mullewa, and Geraldton.
