Newport Railway Museum Inc.

We opened our museum to the public every weekend, enabling thousands of visitors from across the state, country and from overseas to visit and learn about Victoria's railway history and its part in the social and economic development of Victoria. We extended a roof canopy and relocated several important exhibits to maximise the protection from the elements offered by the roof canopy. We also improved our management of archival records and photographs, developing our electronic catalogues and relocating delicate materials into climatecontrolled environments.
