Newcastle Pride is becoming the most visibly recognisable LGBTQIA+ Community based charity organisation in the Region, providing a first stop for families and individuals looking for support. Newcastle Pride has been very active and provided benefits to the Newcastle and Hunter Region Community since we launched in 2018, and has achieved great things and received recognition from several areas we have Participated in the 2019, 2020 and 2022 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Fair Day and the 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 Mardi Gras Parade Received a grant from Mr Tim Crakanthorp MP for the purchase of a vehicle via the Community Building Partnership Grant 2022 via the 2021 Newcastle Stronger Communities Program Received a grant from Ms Sharon Claydon MP for the purchase of new equipment via the 2021 Newcastle Stronger Communities Program Recipients of the 2021 Event Management Golden Pineapple Award at the Hunter Diversity & Inclusion Collective Awards
