Strict governance structure in place with monthly Board meetings attended Research software licenses procures to facilitate research All consenting spinal surgical patients of Neurospine Institute have been enrolled into Neurospine Foundation s research data base since July 1, 2019 with multiple clinician and patient data fields being captured throughout the patient journey to facilitate analytics and outcome measures from data captured preoperatively through to 18 month postsurgery. Our SPINE Registry allows us to closely monitor the clinical outcomes of our patients and offer additional support as needed. We currently collect data preoperatively and at 6 weeks, 6 months, 1 year and 2 years postoperative and are looking to implement longterm followup at 5 and 10 years also. Collection of clinical and surgical data gives us the ability and opportunity to: Investigate differences between surgical techniques and approaches, Characterise patient cohorts for spine pathologies and postoperative outcomes, Investigate device and implant selections, Understand the aetiology of disease progression, Implement evidencebased improvements into routine surgical and clinical care The foundation has also commence providing adhoc financial assistance to support ongoing education and training of medical staff since FY19
